This course is about the „inner taste“ that Shamatha-meditation for calming the mind may bring about when practiced in the style of the Mahamudra tradition.
This is about 3 essential points:
1. How to bring the mind in meditation into a state of calmness, how to settle the mind.
2. How to let the mind in meditation rest undisturbed and uncontrived.
3. How to hold the mind in meditation without strain (lose) and in a relaxed way.
This course entails a preparation for a 5-day Mahamudra-Retreat to be held next year with Acharya Lama Sönam Rabgye at Kamalashila Institute. For this retreat the participation in this online-course will be a necessary requirement.
