Miriam Pokora
Palliative care specialistMiriam Pokora is a palliative care nurse and practicing Buddhist in the Tibetan tradition. She has been active in Buddhist-inspired hospice work since 2006 (former director, together with Michaela Draeger, of the Hospizdienst Horizont of Bodhicharya Deutschland e.V.) and since 2020 has been leading the outpatient Sukhavati Palliative Counseling and Hospice Service. She is a lecturer for further education and training in the field of palliative care, hospice work and care as well as in the field of Buddhism and end-of-life care. Miriam Pokora teaches only German language courses on the Kamalashila Online Campus.
