Mindfulness and Stress Management

Based on Buddhist mindfulness meditations and other elements from forms of therapy and communication training, programmes have been developed in recent decades, often scientifically researched, to help people learn how to better deal with stress, agitation and difficult emotions. These programmes use language in the instructions that largely avoids Buddhist terms. The personal experience of the participants is addressed and they are accompanied in their inner processes. Silence retreats are also offered here, which can serve as further training for teachers and trainees in mindfulness-based practices.
