Lama Yesche U. Regel
Buddhist teacherLama Yesche U. Regel has been teaching Buddhist philosophy and meditations throughout the German-speaking area for many decades. He met Tibetan lamas in 1977 and was involved in setting up several Buddhist meditation and teaching centers, including the Kamalashila Institute and the Halscheid Retreat Center. He was a student of Tibetan lamas and met many Buddhist teachers. He was an ordained monk from 1980-1997 and completed a three-year closed retreat during this time. Since then he has been a “freelancer” and has been running the Paramita practice room for meditation and Buddhism in Bonn together with Angelika Wild-regel since 2005. His PARAMITA ONLINE program accompanies many people in their regular meditation practice. He has published two books: “Compassion for yourself, others and the world/Tonglen practice” and “Self-compassion through Tonglen”. A Paramita practice book is in the works. Lama Yesche U. Regel teaches only German language courses on the Kamalashila Online Campus.
