This three-part video series presents three vital energies that are present and accessible for us in our everyday lives, here and now. Engaging these energies throughout our day has the power to breathe vibrancy into our Dharma practice on and off the cushion.
Individually and together, simplicity, courage, and paradox offer us portals for understanding and connecting us experientially with reorientation, bodhicitta, and the view of emptiness—the three primary elements of the Mahayana path.
Through Dharma talks and guided practice, Lamas Yeshe and Zopa present a multi-faceted approach to guide participants actively through an exploration of these vital energies and the corresponding vast and profound elements indispensable to the Mahayana path, as well as the interaction between them.
Participants will experience Dharma talks, guided shamatha meditation, meditative inquiry, prayer, and learn about the practice the Lamas call wording the Dharma, an interactive and personal method for engaging the source languages of Buddhism in accurate and personally meaningful ways.
In addition, Lamas Yeshe and Zopa employ the Buddha’s contemplative technology of listening, contemplating, and meditating, a dynamic practice that encourages us to experience the Dharma intimately, right in our own experience, both in formal meditation and daily life. This time-tested method for integrating the Dharma into our being offers immense support and inspiration for Dharma students of all Buddhist heritages.
