On this weekend, Lama Sönam Rabgye will teach an overview of these Paramitas and show how they can be applied and practiced in life, combined or one at a time.

Acharya Lama Sönam Rabgye · November 13, 2024

The Paramitas are very important aspects of the Buddhist path. You can see them as a cycle from which the teaching and practice of the path are made up, or in a constructive order.

They are (in Sanskrit/Tibetan):
Dana/Jinpa – generosity
Shila/tsueltrim – wholesome ethical behavior
Kshanti/soepa – patience
Virya/tsoedrue – endurance, enthusiasm
Dhyana/samten – deep meditation
Prajna/sherab – higher wisdom

On this weekend, Lama Sönam Rabgye will teach an overview of these Paramitas and show how they can be applied and practiced in life, combined or one at a time.
